Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (Motorcycle) - Level 3 *Course now FULL*
This course is designed for those who wish to progress from the Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (Motorcycle) course. The programme builds on the knowledge and skills required for employment and/or career progression within the automotive motorcycle sector. The course uses a mix of theory supported by practical skills and techniques and is recognised by the Sector Skills Council as a VRQ/Technical Certificate; which can be used as evidence of underpinning knowledge in a related Modern Apprenticeship framework.
The course programme includes: Advanced Chassis Technology, Advanced Engine Technology, Advanced Transmission Technology, and Advanced Electrical and Electronic Technology.
Entry Requirements
Level 2 Certificate in appropriate/equivalent qualification.
Further Study/Employment
This course prepares you for further study at HNC/D level in Automotive Engineering or progression into a Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) or Modern Apprenticeship in this subject area.
