Early Education and Childcare HNC *Course now FULL*
This course is for people who are enthusiastic about working as part of a team to support the learning and development of young children . It is for those who want to build on skills developed within the NC programme.
Two days each week in college will give you the opportunity to undertake a range of subjects such as Curriculum and Assessment, Promotion of Language, Literacy and Numeracy and Health Strategies and Initiatives to Support Children’s Health. Practical placement of two days each week will give you the opportunity to put theory into practice and to see first hand how early years settings operate. You will also undertake study to inform you of the principles, values and legislation underpinning early years practice.
All subjects will be taught and assessed as a continuous process with a combination of teaching and learning approaches being used.

NC Early Education and Childcare, PDA Class Ass + Higher
Further Study/Employment
Successful completion of the course may allow progression to the Diploma year of the BA Education and Social Services or employment as an early years worker.
