Computer Networking HNC
Data communications and computer networks have become integral to all modern organisations’ communications needs. This course gives you the opportunity to begin developing skills and knowledge for the requirements of this increasingly evolving market. Once you have successfully completed the course you will be on your way to the necessary skill-set required for design, setting up and managing networking computer systems to a professional standard. The course is intended for people wishing to pursue a career in Network management.
You will have the opportunity to study with professional materials as part of this course preparing you for exams from Microsoft and CompTIA.
Some of the subjects include Client OS & Server OS -Aligned to Microsoft 70-270 & 70-290, Networking Concepts – Aligned to Network+ and Server Concepts – Aligned to Server+.
Entry Requirements
1 Higher, Relevant NQ. Work related skills will also be considered
Further Study/Employment
On successful completion of this course you may progress to year 2 of HND Computer Networking or to employment in computing/network support.
