Legal Services HNC *Course now FULL*
This course is ideal if you are interested in a career in law or want to progress to degree level study.
It is endorsed by the Law Society of Scotland and the Scottish Paralegal Association. As a student you will be able to apply to become a member of the Scottish Paralegal Association, providing you with a paralegal career path.
The following legal areas will be covered:
Scottish Legal System, Scots Private Law,
Property Law, Commercial Law, Communication: Analysing and Presenting, Complex Communication, Legal Research Techniques, Legal Services Graded Unit 1.
A range of optional law subjects will also be included in the course.
Entry Requirements
1 Higher plus units at Intermediate 2/Higher level, NQ Introduction to Law, NQ Business, appropriate group of NQ units at Intermediate 2/Higher level
Further Study/Employment
On completing this course you can progress to HND study or year 2 of a related degree course. This course also prepares you for careers in areas such as legal accounts, legal cashier, conveyancing assistant, paralegal assistant etc.
