Supported Courses
Our supported courses can help if you have additional support needs, impairments or other personal circumstances that make mainstream learning difficult.
Individual Supported Courses
We provide individual supported courses designed around your needs. If you are a school leaver we can provide you with a supported curriculum to access the integrated adult learning environment or Further Education. If you are an adult we can provide you with a supported educational environment in which you can achieve your learning goals.
If you are a blind or visually impaired person we can help you learn to access ICT resources. If you are a deaf person we can help you develop the communication skills to access Further Education. And if you are a communication-impaired person we can help you develop your communication skills using a Voice Output Communication Aid (VOCA).
We offer a range of supported courses that are designed to meet your needs and help you to develop a more independent lifestyle.
On completing a course, you can continue to develop vocational skills with further study in mainstream college courses or employment or supported employment. Each course is designed around your needs, and develops your skills in areas such as:
- Communication
- Information Technology
