The New Campus
Excellent Location
The new Motherwell College campus will be located at Ravenscraig, and is the first major development on the former steelworks site in the heart of North Lanarkshire.
This is hugely exciting as Ravenscraig will be the country’s first new town in more than 50 years. The venture is one of the largest regeneration projects in Europe, covering 450 hectares. Ravenscraig is expected to become home to over 10,000 people, with the creation of 12,000 jobs, attracting in excess of £1.2 billion of private sector investment over the next 15 - 20 years.
