Christina Terry
Studying: Level 2 Vehicle Body Repair
Role: Secretary
Responsibilities: Organise and publicise the minutes from Students' Association meetings, draw up and circulate the agenda prior to meetings, logging incoming and outgoing mail, producing letters and ensuring copies are kept on file.
Where you want to be in 3-5yrs: Working in vehicle body shop.
Aims: To help the college students put their views across and improve the College.
Jamie Super
Studying: HND Sports Coaching with Development of Sport
Role: Sports Rep
Responsibilities: To help the college be more involved in sports.
Where you want to be in 3-5yrs: After University I would like to visit Australia or Philadelphia.
Aims: To improve personal team work skills and to be able to hold meetings and take part in discussions.
Christopher Lance Grierson
Studying: NQ Higher
Role: Publicity Officer
Responsibilities: To make the Students Association better known around campus.
Where you want to be in 3-5yrs: Either working as a Junior Broadcast Journalist or working towards a journalism degree or possibly to have gained a foothold in a political career.
Aims: To improve the College atmosphere.
Melissa Cheney
Studying: International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
Role: Fundraiser
Responsibilities: Raising funds for the Students' Association and for charities, working alongside the students association Entertainments Officer to arrange fun events for the students e.g. Pool Tournaments.
Where you want to be in 3-5yrs: Finishing a degree in Geology and Petroleum Geology.
Aims: To raise a substantial amount of funds for charity.
Paul Friel
Studying: NQ Higher
Role: Equal Opportunities officer
Where you want to be in 3-5yrs: Teaching Business Management
Aims: To maintain equality throughout the student body.
Prosper Esin
Studying: HNC Business
Role: President
Responsibilities: Prime representative of the students' association, attending other relevant College committees, reporting back to the students' association, leading delegations to conferences and meetings with external bodies, chairing the meetings of the students' association executive committee, maintaining a rota for the supervision of the student lounge during break times.
Where you want to be in 3-5yrs: Managing a succesful hairdressing institution as an entrepreneur.
Aims: To help improve the learning experience of students in the College, to provide a voice for the students via the students' association and to make the whole student body more aware of the students' asscociation and the work they do.
Christine McNally
Studying: Higher (English, Modern Studies and Business)
Role: Vice President
Responsibilities: Being second-in-command to the President, attending other relevant College committees and reporting back in the absence of the President, ensuring good communications between other members of the executive committee, attending delegations to conferences and meetings with external bodies with the President, chairing meetings in the absence of the President.
Where you want to be in 3-5yrs: Studying a profession in the business sector, either in accountancy, law, or human resource management.
Aims: To make the college a better place and to improve personal communication and people skills.
