What is it?
The Student Association exists to provide you with activities outside your area of study and the lounge is the perfect place to learn new skills and make new friends.
The Student Association is affiliated to the National Union of Students (NUS) and membership is free. NUS Cards, which give access to a range of benefits, are issued from the Student Common Room.

NUS Scotland has created a survey on student hardship. This survey aims to evidence the real problems affecting students in Scotland. You can win the argument to get more money back in your students pockets.
Students who respond to the questionnaire will be entered into a free prize draw to win a 4Gb iPod Shuffle. So please circulate the questionnaire to your members and encourage them to fill it in. You can access the survey online at:

Motherwell College Student Association is based in the Student Common Room and is situated opposite the College shop.

How do I get involved?
Information on how to get involved in the Motherwell College Students Association and the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme can be obtained from the Student Liaison Officer or from the committee members.
